Purple couch and love seat

Saw this on the way into the office.  You should buy it. Price is right: FREE. Your truck takes it away.

The very large fuel tank of the space shuttle was transported through the streets of inglewood this past weekend. I caught up with the fuel tank at Manchester and La Brea Avenues. A crowd was there, not as big a crowd as greeted the space shuttle Endevour four years ago, but this is a fuel tank that never left the Earth. Still there was a special feeling in the crowd as it approached and passed.

Panorama. Sunset

The panorama sunset in Inglewood recently. Taken with the iPhone panorama setting.

Not something to discard, but a rainbow in Los Angeles, spotted on Slauson Avenue after a rain storm one day last year. From where I was at the time, the end of the rainbow was at a church. But of course, that's an optical illusion. When I drove to the church, it was further east. You can't catch the end of the rainbow!

A big pile of stuff, hope I did not already post this.

It does not get any better than this, so many toilets in one place at the same time. Are they waiting for a cab? In a way, yes, they are probably waiting for a pick up by the local city trash man to take them away on a one way trip to the great bathroom in the sky.

Now, here are some cool items I saw. I think the shoes were left as a offering to the street lamp gods. As for the toilet, who knows. THe vacuum cleaner, another lost cause. Why did it end up in a parking lot near the 99 cents store? I leave it to you, the informed audience.

What is the story here? What is going on? This was somewhere in my neighborhood on one of my many walks.
